Apolina's beloved Velma skirt set returns in the season’s Blush linen. The top has dramatic, embroidered puff sleeves and pretty contrast motif embroideries to the waistband and pockets, along with an elasticated neck sleeve and hem. The pull-on skirt has embroidery on the patch pockets and an elasticated back waist.

Velma is intended to meet at the middle, giving the impression of a one piece. A truly versatile set, she can also be worn separately – mix and match with sun tops or shorts, or pair with a favourite T-shirt.

Apolina is a modern embroidered children's clothing brand: exciting yet nostalgic, with longevity and a sense of craft. Designed in England, but inspired by travel, traditional handicrafts and the natural world, the collection's beautiful dresses, blouses and sets have relaxed silhouettes so children are comfortable and can play freely. Apolina hope each piece will be passed down to younger siblings, then kept by mothers as a reminder of cherished childhood memories, and passed to grandchildren as a future heirloom.

The starting point for Apolina’s SS26 collection was the beautiful Charleston house, once home to artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, and gathering place for the Bloomsbury group.

A dream-like colour palette of tonal pastels, with highlight colours of Tangerine, Peony, Sea Glass and Azul, build an eclectic creative mood, inspired by the studio at Charleston with its travelled feel and collected objects. Signature embroideries, prints, ruffles and bespoke broderie anglaise, echo a traditional cottage garden blooming with delphiniums, peonies and sweet peas.
