Apolina's beloved Barbara style returns as a simple, swingy everyday top and short set, with signature statement puff sleeves. The season’s ‘Summerhouse Stripe’ cotton is set off with pretty contrast embroidery, with hand blanket stitch finishing at pockets and hem, and embroidered motifs at pockets and shorts hemline. The top has an elasticated neckline and sleeves, while the shorts have an elasticated adjustable waistband for comfort.

Barbara’s sweet nautical mood is perfect for beach days and holidays.

Apolina is a modern embroidered children's clothing brand: exciting yet nostalgic, with longevity and a sense of craft. Designed in England, but inspired by travel, traditional handicrafts and the natural world, the collection's beautiful dresses, blouses and sets have relaxed silhouettes so children are comfortable and can play freely. Apolina hope each piece will be passed down to younger siblings, then kept by mothers as a reminder of cherished childhood memories, and passed to grandchildren as a future heirloom.

The starting point for Apolina’s SS26 collection was the beautiful Charleston house, once home to artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, and gathering place for the Bloomsbury group.

A dream-like colour palette of tonal pastels, with highlight colours of Tangerine, Peony, Sea Glass and Azul, build an eclectic creative mood, inspired by the studio at Charleston with its travelled feel and collected objects. Signature embroideries, prints, ruffles and bespoke broderie anglaise, echo a traditional cottage garden blooming with delphiniums, peonies and sweet peas.
