Hirameki: Doodle this book to life! - Peng & Hu

Discover a whole new way to doodle!

Hirameki - 'brainwave' or 'flash of inspiration' in Japanese - is where doodling and imagination come together. Instead of colouring inside the lines, transform colourful blots and abstract shapes into imaginative drawings of your own.

There are no rules and no artistic experience required. Simply look at the colourful marks, let your imagination wander, and add a few lines to reveal funny faces, fantastic creatures, or anything else you can dream up. Artists Peng & Hu have helpfully doodled many characters on the page to kickstart your creativity – the rest is up to you!

It's a calming, screen-free activity for all ages. Discover what is hidden in these all-new splodges of paint!
